Overnight Camp in Merzouga Desert
A night in a Berber camp among the Erg Chebbi dunes, reached by camel or 4×4: sandboarding, sunset and sunrise, dinner with Berber music and your own private tent with bathroom.
How it works
- 5:30 pm: you set off by camel for about an hour (or by 4×4) to the camp in the middle of the desert. Your luggage is taken to your tent by the camp’s car.
- On arrival, walk up the dunes to watch the sunset – a great moment for photos.
- When the sky is clear the stars shine with amazing intensity. Dinner is served with Berber music.
- You sleep in your own private tent with shower and toilet.
- In the morning, walk up the dunes near the camp for sunrise, then return for a Berber breakfast. Ride back to the hotel by camel or 4×4 – both options are included.
