A relaxed half day in the desert: visit a nomad family, then enjoy a barbecue lunch in a shady palm oasis surrounded by the high dunes of Erg Chebbi.
How it works
- 10:30 am: your driver-guide picks you up at the meeting-point hotel in a private 4×4.
- We visit a nomad family living behind the dunes for a glass of tea and to learn how they live in this environment.
- A short drive through the dunes brings you to the oasis, with palm trees and shaded tents. You have free time to explore.
- We prepare lunch for you: chicken barbecue, Berber salad and fruit, with water and tea.
- After lunch we drive back to the starting point.
