Overnight Desert Trip from Erfoud

One night in a comfortable desert camp among the Erg Chebbi dunes, starting from Erfoud in the late afternoon. It is the easiest way to experience a camel ride, a Saharan sunset and sunrise, and a night under the stars if you are staying in Erfoud.

How the trip works

• 5:00 pm: we pick you up in Erfoud by private 4×4 – the drive to Merzouga takes about an hour.
• 6:00 pm: you set off by camel for about an hour into the dunes to the camp.
• Sunset: after arriving, walk up the dunes nearby to watch the sun go down.
• Evening: a good dinner followed by Berber music. You sleep in a private Berber tent with its own toilet and shower.
• Morning: climb the dunes for sunrise, then have breakfast, ride back by camel to the starting point and drive back to your accommodation in Erfoud.
