Trip to Merzouga from Ouarzazate
A two-day private trip from Ouarzazate to spend a night in the Erg Chebbi desert: a camel ride at sunset, sandboarding, dinner with Berber music and a night in a luxury private tent, with photo stops at the Ziz Valley and the Todra Gorge along the way. You travel in a private 4×4, minibus or minivan, depending on the size of your group, from and back to your accommodation in Ouarzazate.
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
At 8:00 am your driver-guide picks you up at your accommodation and we drive east to Merzouga, stopping for photos on the way. From the edge of the dunes you ride a camel (or go by 4×4 if you prefer) to the luxury camp, with sandboarding and sunset on the way. Dinner and Berber music, then overnight in a private tent with its own shower and toilet.
Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Ouarzazate
Wake for sunrise in the desert, enjoy a Berber breakfast and return to Merzouga, where your vehicle is waiting. We visit the Todra Gorge on the way back and arrive at your accommodation in Ouarzazate in the afternoon.
