4 Days Desert Tour from Rabat to Marrakech
Overview:
A private 4 Days Desert Tour from Rabat to Marrakech offers an immersive and scenic journey through Morocco, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, exploring the Tinghir Oasis, and discovering the Saharan dunes.

Day 1: Rabat – Fez
After breakfast, we will begin our 4 Days Desert Tour from Rabat to Marrakech, crossing the Sahara Desert.
We will depart from Rabat and travel through vast agricultural lands to discover Meknes, the second imperial city. We will visit the gigantic Bab El Mansour gate and then head to Fez for a guided tour of the medina.
Afterwards, we will visit the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Palace Gate, Al Karaouine University, the tanneries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, among other historical and cultural sites. Finally, we will spend the night in a riad or hotel in the Fez medina, with breakfast included.
Day 2: Fez – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast on the second day of our 4 Days Desert Tour from Rabat to Marrakech, we will visit Ifrane before continuing towards the Middle Atlas Mountains and stopping at the famous cedar forest, where you can observe wild monkeys.
We will then travel to Midelt through the stunning Ziz Valley and on to Erfoud.
We will arrive in Merzouga, where we will prepare for a camel ride that will allow us to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the dunes.
After dinner, we will spend the night in a luxurious desert camp, with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Dades Gorges
Our camel guide will wake us early today, as part of our 4 Days Desert Tour from Rabat to Marrakech, to watch the sunrise over the dunes.
After breakfast, we will return by camel to the hotel before continuing to Tinghir, where we will discover the Todra Gorges. We will visit the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco.
Next, we will travel through the Dades Valley to see the rock formation known as “monkey fingers.” Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel in Dades, with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will explore the Dades Valley. We will continue our journey along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs and the Valley of Roses towards Skoura.
We will arrive at the Skoura palm grove and visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. We will also visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where films such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator were filmed.
We will continue to Marrakech via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. We will drop you off at your accommodation upon your arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. End of our tour.
