Two nights at Merzouga from Errachidia – one in a luxury hotel at the edge of the dunes and one in a luxury desert camp – with a camel ride, nomads, Gnawa music and plenty of time to enjoy the Erg Chebbi dunes. The trip starts at Errachidia airport at 3:30 pm and ends there at 11:30 am two days later.
Day 1: Errachidia – Merzouga
We leave Errachidia airport at 3:30 pm and arrive at your hotel in Merzouga about two hours later. You have your own luxury room with private bathroom and air conditioning, free time to watch the sunset, and dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Nomads, Gnawa Music and a Night in the Dunes
Wake up to watch the sunrise over the dunes near the hotel, then have breakfast. By 4×4 we visit a nomad family and the village of Khamlia for Gnawa music, with a Berber pizza for lunch.
In the afternoon you ride a camel for about an hour into the dunes to the luxury camp, with sandboarding and sunset on the way. You have your own luxury tent with private shower and toilet, followed by dinner and music around the campfire.
Day 3: Merzouga – Errachidia
Wake up for sunrise and breakfast, then we drive you back to Errachidia airport or your hotel, arriving at about 11:30 am.
